Running the Shadows
- Aging stops at Maturity (Cost: -10%): Use for Unaging, to indicate a race reaches maturity (mid-30s for a human) and then stops aging. This is different than normal Unaging, since Unaging allows you to choose when you stop aging.
- Biological (Cost: -2): Biological implants appear, generally, as normal tissue, making it more difficult to find. Applies a -2 penalty for Search tests.
- Essence Interference (Non-Magic User: Cost: -1, -2, or-3, Magic User: Cost: Same as Non-Magic User cost, plus 10, 20, or 30): This limitation is used for implants to indicate two things. First, that the implant makes it harder to cast healing spells on the person with the implant. Second, that if the person with the implant is a magic user, it makes all magic used by the owner more difficult to cast.
This limitation comes in three levels, depending on the invasiveness of the implant. Unfortunately, this is sort of a soft subject and it must be left to the GM to determine which level is most appropriate for the implant.
Slightly Invasive: -1 to any healing spell skill test. Magic users additionally get -1 to every magical skill test.
Invasive: -2 to any healing spell skill test. Magic users additionally get -2 to every magical skill test.
Very Invasive: -3 to any healing spell skill test. Magic users additionally get -3 to every magical skill test.
